Douglas Flugum and Jon Cushing started Tektivity, Inc. in 1999 with a business plan and the Mission Statement: Provide our clients superior, cost effective information services that give them a competitive advantage. Tektivity initially offered a range of information technology management services to small and medium-sized businesses. Anywhere from consulting to complete network Hosting. Growth in technical support grew as Tektivity's services expanded at a steady rate. In July of 2005 Tektivity added telecommunication products and services after acquiring Palmer Telecommunications. Palmer Telecommunications was started in 1984 in Hiawatha. With the addition of the Palmer staff and inventory, Tektivity expanded their office space in downtown Cedar Rapids. On October 19, 2005 Tektivity hosted an open house to celebrate their growth, expansion and modified Mission Statement: Provide our clients superior, cost effective information and telecommunication services that give them a competitive advantage. Tektivity is also a reseller of 2X products. 2X is a solution that can extend your server infrastructure to anywhere with an internet connection. |
